Provenance Collection

The Provenance Collection features exceptional fleeces sourced from carefully selected farms and shepherds in Canada and around the world who share our approach to animal welfare and responsible farming. We seek out remarkable wool from heritage, rare, and uncommon breeds, as well as fleeces chosen for their extraordinary lock structure, lustre, softness, colour, and character.

Many of the breeds we source are considered rare or endangered. By purchasing and showcasing their wool, we help create demand for these breeds, encouraging shepherds to continue raising them and contributing, in a small but meaningful way, to the preservation of their unique genetics and fibre traditions.

 Each fleece comes with the history we are able to provide about its origin, its breed and when a biography of the individual sheep is available, we include that as well.

Once they arrive at the farm, the fleeces are transformed into unique vegetarian fleeces that preserve the character and identity of the original fibre. No two are alike.
