Our dried willow is sold by weight and there is a minimum order of 4.54kg (10lbs). Because willow is a natural product, the number of rods per bundle will vary depending on the variety, length, and diameter of the rods. Our bundles contain a natural mix of willow rods and lenghts can vary between 30 cm ( 1 foot). Individual rods may vary in length within this range.

All rods are harvested during dormancy and naturally air-dried before being sorted by length and bundled. Before weaving, simply soak the willow until it becomes flexible again. Once rehydrated, it regains the suppleness needed for weaving while retaining the strength that makes willow such an exceptional basketry material.
